Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor, TV host, and writer. He is also the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. Also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family members to be born. He finished his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned a BSc.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministries

While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into the field of ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.

YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates across the world.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most prominent Christian broadcasting channel in Africa. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The program was cancelled in May 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who declared that the churches would cease broadcasting miracles on television.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry consists of four parts that include publishing ministry (healing ministry) and television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry). The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to investigate and enhance the leadership potentials of Africans. The InnerCity Mission for children is an religiously-based not-for-profit Organisation (NGO). The NGO was birthed in 2005 to help the most vulnerable, poor children who are orphaned, vulnerable and who are homeless in the world.

The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and their communities by offering participation-based and sustainable interventions like child development programs for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children’s school, in addition to other programmes.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to improve the quality of life and the general health of communities and nations through promoting improved emergency response services for incidents and emergency situations. The foundation is positioned to help national policies regarding trauma care by promoting community-based programs, health education and advocacy.

More than a thousand people have received first aid and safety instruction from the foundation. Their records show that they were able teach thousands of teachers, students and law enforcement officers, caregivers and road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps

The Volunteer Medical Corps provides humanitarian aid to refugees as well as internally displaced persons in nations that have been affected or are in danger of being devastated by natural or human-made disasters.

BFAM has distributed thousands of free copies of the Rhapsody Bible to communities, hospitals, prisons as well as private and public institutions across the globe that include Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Philippines, Brazil, Egypt, Poland, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Turkey. Through a worldwide network of Bible donors and volunteers, the distribution was made possible.
